Queen's Corner!

Hi everyone!

I somehow snuck into the wireless system at the Hilton hotel here in Newark, NJ. I am at The Queen's Corner event representing The Red Carpet. There are some nice vendors and more new pageants than I thought were ever possible. Famed interview coach Don Baker was the opening speaker and I really enjoyed his insight. We spoke for a few moments and he was very kind. Lucky are the girls who have appointments with him today!

Right now a pregnant pageant coach is giving a rather looooooooong make up demonstration on a former Miss CT USA...I need my girl Wendy Williams to come up in here with a big HOW YOU DOOOOOIN??

We may be showing a few pieces in a Red Carpet fashion show at the event that I might host...always be prepared for everything!

Tomorrow it's back to a dose of reality, subbing third grade and running fourth grade math club before a Bachelor finale party!!

Miss Southern Delaware...followed by Queen's Corner!

The Miss Southern Delaware Pageant was a HUGE success! After getting a very short and very nice haircut from Robert at the Robert Thomas Salon in Rehoboth Beach (he will be sponsoring Miss Rehoboth Beach herself this year! THANK YOU!!) I headed over to prepare to Emcee and sing at the pageant and I had a wonderful day. My good friend Ashleigh Hudson is the newest addition the family of Miss Delaware local directors and I am just so excited for her! Congratulations to our newest titleholder Lorin Walls, as well as first runner up April Stevenson, Miss Congeniality Janemarie Covel, People's Choice winner Shannon Tiberi, and fabulous newcomer Monica Link! I Emceed with Miss Delaware 2009 Heather Lehman and we had a BLAST sharing the duties. I sand my standard Michael Buble's Foggy Day to open Act 2 and then my newest song, Somewhere Out There, while the girls received roses from Heather and took a final walk on stage. I had NO idea who was going to win, there were five totally different talents and they were all great! Congratulations to all involved and thanks to everyone who came out!

Tomorrow I have an early wake up call to join my boss Trish and The Red Carpet at the Queen's Corner Pageant Expo! It will be at the Hilton in Newark, NJ and there will be lots of exciting vendors including photographer Catherine Fiehn and Don Baker. Come out and see us all, 11 am to 4 pm.
